Doing the world's worst impression of a renaissance man, Adam Azra'el is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, writer, and avid consumer of turkey club sandwiches. Mistakenly permitted at age 17 to leave the zoo in Colorado where he was raised, he moved to Minneapolis and eventually turned up at McNally Smith College Of Music, collecting several degrees and one still-outstanding arrest warrant before graduating. He now resides there permanently with his very talented, patient, and tolerant wife.

Music

Adam is a genre-agnostic jack-of-all-trades whose buffoonery stretches from rock and metal to funk, latin, pop, and folk music traditions from around the world. He is a founding member of folk punk outfit St. George's Folly, a guitarist the instrumental quartet The Fool's Errand, releases work under his own name, and happily hires out for session playing and live performance. A life and resume full of musical side-quests have left him with a chaotic heap of credits and a reputation for going the extra mile in every aspect of his work.

Podcast

Adam is also the producer and co-host of The Lesser Stories, a comedy-history podcast dedicated to spotlighting the world’s most delightfully unimportant events. His signature cocktail of sarcasm and narrative anarchy brings history to life in a way that most adults hate and most children are not permitted to consume, which doesn't seem to be stopping him from doing it anyway.
